Another Ring on the Tree: Cohort 10 Graduates, Cohort 11 on the Way

Every Executive Coaching in Organizations (ECO) cohort adds a new ring to the CCO tree. Cohort 10 recently graduated, ten new coaches strong, and we’re already getting ready to welcome Cohort 11 in February. In this post you’ll hear from our program director, celebrate our newest grads, and find a few ways to be part of what comes next.
A Note From the Program Director
Congratulations to our ten newest coaches from ECO Cohort 10. It takes real courage for accomplished, capable adults to become beginners again, to let themselves be seen mid-learning rather than mid-mastery. This group did that for a full year, unlearning old habits and finding trust in themselves before offering it to their clients. What stood out most was their persistence, a healthy dose of mischief, and the way they showed up for each other. They pushed through the challenging moments together, laughed often, and made sure no one was left carrying something alone. They leave as ten strong, fiery, tender coaches ready to shape this field. I’m deeply grateful to the faculty, mentor coaches, and volunteers who supported them. Your time, wisdom, and care made this year what it was.
As we celebrate Cohort 10, we’re getting ready to welcome Cohort 11. The program begins with orientation on February 18, 2027, with in-person classes starting in March at the Wilder Foundation in St. Paul. Over the next year, this new cohort will take their own leap into the beginner’s seat, build their coaching skills, and form the same kind of community we’ve just watched come together. They’ll graduate on March 11, 2028.
If you’ve been thinking about ECO, I’d love to hear from you. Reach out with questions or start your application, and we’ll help you figure out whether this is the right fit and the right time. And if someone in your life comes to mind as you read this, please pass it along. Many of our best students found us because someone who knew them well said, “This sounds like you.”
– Naomi Banks, ECO Program Director
Cohort 10 Graduates
In August, we celebrated the graduation of Cohort 10, ten coaches who spent the past year learning, practicing and growing together. We are so proud of each of them.
Their year was full: in-person weekends, virtual evening sessions, coaching circles, mentor coaching, a fall retreat, and plenty of sticky notes along the way. They leaned into curiosity, stayed present through the hard days, turned to each other for support, and each began shaping a coaching voice that is truly their own.
We asked the cohort what they’re celebrating as they wrap up the program. Here’s some of what they told us.
“I didn’t know how much I needed community when I started this program. But I have it now. And I am the version of Ashley I wanted to be after graduation, and I always was.” – Ashley
“I am celebrating how I have evolved and grown in my voice and who I am becoming through this journey. I am not the same woman that I started out as.” – Jaralyn
“I am celebrating that I committed to something for myself for an entire year, carving out and protecting the time and space, asking for what I need and filling my own cup as I continue to stretch myself on this journey.” – Katie
“I’m savoring what it feels like to be surrounded by a community – faculty and mentors included – that cares deeply, challenges, supports, and shows up 100 to 100.” – Miranda
“My increased confidence level and new way of being!” – Kim
Graduation is one milestone, and we’ll keep celebrating you long after it. This community is here to cheer you on and support you wherever coaching takes you next. Congratulations, Cohort 10!
