Peer Coaching

+ What is Peer Coaching?

Peer coaching is an affordable and experiential 6-month leadership development opportunity where participants can grow their skills and confidence in coaching to impact their everyday conversations. Individuals will practice key coaching skills, support others to foster a coach mindset, and create impactful interactions.

Each participant will be guided to establish an individual development goal at the start of the program to work on throughout the six months, with the support of a peer group of no more than 6 people. It is a space to coach and be coached, applying key coaching skills introduced in real time.

+ Who is the Peer Coaching program designed for?

  • Leaders and high potential individuals who aspire to leadership roles, including:
    • Supervisors
    • Managers
    • Tech leaders
    • Senior leaders and directors
    • Non-profit executive directors
    • Business owners
  • Those who value hands-on (experiential) learning

    • Peer coaching sessions will introduce coaching skills and create space for participants to coach each other related to their individual development goal.
  2. 6-9 hours reflection and application between sessions
  3. ICF-credentialed and experienced facilitators
  4. Resources and materials, including a peer coaching workbook.

+ How to register for Peer Coaching

There are two options for registration:

  • For organizations: If you would like to foster or expand the coaching culture and capability in your organization, CCO can partner with you to host a dedicated peer coaching program for your leaders. Complete the interest form to learn more and discuss your needs.
  • For individuals: If an individual wants to register for the program, CCO will be offering cohorts with individuals from several organizations. Registration can be completed via Eventbrite (coming soon!). Complete the interest form for more information.

+ How are the Peer Coaching sessions scheduled?

In order to maximize attendance, the peer coaching sessions are scheduled based on participant’s availability. Following the Coaching Skills workshop, the facilitator(s) will work with participants to determine optimal dates and times for the five monthly peer coaching sessions. Options can include weekdays and weekday evenings.

+ What if I have to miss a session?

This program is most successful when all participants are present at every session, which is why they are scheduled based on the participant’s availability. We know that life happens and, if you have to miss a session we will provide options to ensure you maintain momentum in the program.
